The Veterans Show

Imagine you are 17 years old.  You are on the verge of the rest of your life.  Then you are told that you must go halfway across the world, to a country and society that is completely foreign to you.  But that is not the worst of it, you not only must fight for your survival, but you must also fight for your Brothers and now you must also take life all in the name of freedom.  How would you cope with all of that on your shoulders?  Well, as we know, many did not find ways to deal with the evil they witnessed, they just stuffed it deep inside and carried on.  But SPC4 James (Jim) Allen Logue took pictures.  Pictures no one else could get and sometimes these were the last photographs ever to be taken of these brave, young men.  But it is what Jim did with the pictures afterwards that is most astonishing.  Jim could have kept all the photographs to himself, but instead Jim and his best friend SPC4 Gary D. Ford spent years researching and finding Jim's former Company Brother's and/or their next of kin.  Then Jim and Gary went to 71 different homes to distribute the photos.  Yet Jim gave something else, something much more precious and completely priceless to the 9 soldiers families who were Killed in Action (KIA), Jim gave them closure.  We invite you to meet two true heroes, one who was sent into the depths of hell and the other who helped walk with his best friend out of the depths of hell.  To Jim and Gary, it is an absolute honor to help tell your story and the story of our Brothers.  There are no other words other then, praise God for men like you.
