Episode 59: Why Do Gold Star Families Pay Taxes?
There are times in life, when we must step back and reevaluate the way we do things. For example, the hamster wheel we lovingly call the United States Government and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). From bureaucrats, to bloated budgets not getting to those who served it is moments such as this, that as a society we are forced to open our eyes and see if there is a better way to conduct ourselves. If what we think is helping is actually hurting. If protecting life has turned into taking life, then it is our duty to those who came before us to fix the "system". In this episode we discuss how America and her Veterans can truly be honored, instead of empty platitudes on Memorial and Veterans Day.
