The Veterans Show

Episode 76: Mr. Garrett Ziegler

The Veterans Show Season 3 Episode 76

In this episode, our special guest, Mr. Garrett Ziegler, founder of Marco Polo, shares disturbing details about Hunter Biden's fraudulent USAA insurance claim in 2016—despite being ineligible for coverage after his administrative discharge from the Navy.  This revelation underscores the troubling reality that while veterans fight for basic services, others exploit systems meant to protect those who served.

Speaker 1:

There's men and women all around who fought and died for your freedom and it's real f***ed up how the government treats them. They just sit back and they won't even feed them. They lay on the ground feeling defeated. Lord, they paid their dues and they beat the enemy while they're all alone fighting PTSD, because freedom ain't free but in reality, you entitled holes are handed everything. We should all rise up and all just agree the division ain't the way that it's supposed to be lord. It's a damn shame what the world's gotten to. We, the people like you, and we, the people like me, should just wake up and realize it's true, because it is oh it is living in a new world with an old soul.

Speaker 2:

Welcome everybody and thank you for listening to the Veteran Show. Today is the 1st of February 2025, and I'm here with my beautiful wife Laura.

Speaker 3:

Aw, thank you baby.

Speaker 2:

And we wanted to thank producer Michelle and WCBM and retired police officer Carrie for the music.

Speaker 3:

Yep, truly Thank you for all of these wonderful people that make this program happen. They somehow keep this show on the road, so I really appreciate it. If you are new to the Veterans Show, we open each show with a prayer, so, if you can, we ask that you bow your heads with us. Heavenly Father, all glory to you. All glory to you, father. First, we want to lift up all of the loved ones and the families of all of the tragically lost, the people who have been lost in the plane crashes and the air accidents this week.

Speaker 3:

It's been quite an insane week, father, and I know there's a lot of loved ones out there hurting, and I pray for all of their hearts that you somehow fill their souls with your love and your peace. Father, I also thank you for people who seek the truth, for people who are willing to stand up for the truth and for people who are willing to fight for the truth. The truth shall set us free and I appreciate that you give courage to those people. Father, you're so good to us. Even in the darkest of times you're still there, and I thank you for that, and I thank you for all you do, and I thank you for your love and I pray for everybody, every single human heart, and I pray all of this in the name of your son, my Lord and Savior, jesus Christ, the risen King. Amen.

Speaker 3:

Yep, so you're joining or you're listening to the veteran show and we appreciate your time tonight. We do understand that you could be doing anything else on a Saturday evening, but that you're spending your evening with us. We super appreciate that. We we try to work pretty hard for this show and try to bring you a quality show, quality guests, and so it just means a lot that your time, that you give us your time. We do have some news and information that Jeff's going to hand out, and then I'll go over crisis line stuff.

Speaker 2:

But if you want to go ahead, babe, sure. If you want to get any news from the VA or anything else going on with the veterans, just go out to the news at wwwnewsvagov the news at wwwnewsvagov, or for here in the state of Maryland, wwwveteransmarylandgov. Go out there, get on their websites, sign up for their newsletters and have those news delivered directly to your inbox. If you also want to get more information from the VA and you can't wait for an email or anything like that for them to respond you could always pick up the phone, give them a call at 800-827-1000.

Speaker 2:

I know it's a 1,000 line, but you know, hey, they will get back to you. I had a couple months ago I had something. They got it back to me within. I was completely done with them and they answered all my questions and got everything done within 15 minutes. So give them a call, try them out 15 minutes. So give them a call, try them out. Or if you would like to give us a call or reach out and ask us a question, please feel free to at veteransshow at gmailcom. Yep.

Speaker 3:

Now you can't call an email, but no, yeah, veteransshow at gmailcom if you need help with anything or if you want to share your story of what's going on. I'm glad that the VA 1000 line worked for you the 800-827-1000. I know sometimes it doesn't work for everybody, but I do know that there's people out there who are really trying at the VA and now that people are being told to go back to work, maybe stuff will be getting better. You never know, right?

Speaker 1:

maybe stuff will be getting better.

Speaker 3:

You never know right. So moving right along. Listen, I've had a pretty difficult week. I've been on this just emotional roller coaster and my poor husband, he's been really supportive. And first of all I want to thank you, babe, and to all the loved ones out there. When somebody's in a dark place, you coming up and standing next to them and helping them out. Make sure you know you thank them for helping you through something difficult. And to all of you out there that do thank you so much. It's not an easy task to stand by somebody in a dark moment, but we need you and I needed you, babe, and I really, really thank you.

Speaker 3:

I don't think we should wait to give you. Know, I think people say don't wait to give flowers and what they mean is don't wait till somebody's wake or funeral to give them their flowers. Tell them how much they mean to you right off the start, because I mean they're not going to hear it at the funeral. So, baby, you are my world, I love you so much and I don't know if I'm just going to get personal. You are my world, I love you so much, and I don't know if I'm just going to get personal. You know, you and I met in November, and you know 2007. And then we, we had decided he asked me to marry him in February.

Speaker 3:

And then we found out I was sick in March and you could have left. You know, we weren't even. I mean, we're engaged for but a second. And he could have said you know, I'm out, I can't do this, but you didn't. And here we are, many years later, and everything that you've been through with me, I just thank you. I really do.

Speaker 2:

You're an amazing man. Thank you. You've made my life much more enjoyable too.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was hard to say, wasn't it, babe, it's okay, I love you. The audience probably thinks you love me too, anywho. But you know what? If you are in a dark moment, if you're going through something a little rough, um, we want you know, we want you to know to reach out for help. The worst place to stay is locked in your own brain, mulling it over yourself. Um, it sometimes helps to just say it out loud, to hear yourself say it, to hear the words. So, either, if it's counseling anything, just always reach out. Don't think that you're going to handle it on your own, because it helps that we're here together. We're here as team. God put us on this earth together to work things out. So, just always, always, always, always, no matter how dark of a moment you're in, reach out. And one of the ways that you can do that is you can dial 988 and then option one. You can also text 838255 or you can chat online and you can go to wwwveteranscrisislinenet. So those are three ways that you can do it.

Speaker 3:

Now for veterans there's so many different charities out there. I mean, they're everywhere and I'm sad to say that not all of the charities are good. There's a lot of you have to weed through a lot of them. So here at this show, number one if a charity tries to charge you as a veteran for anything, run from that charity. No charity should be charging you. There's so many charities out there that offer their products for free that if one does like I've heard of people trying to get charged for service dogs the VA will pay for a service dog and there's tons of charities out there that will donate service dogs. So there's just so many things out there that are free. So if you run across a charity and they're asking you for money, run from them. Run. But the charities that I'm about to list below, or charities I'm about to talk about now, they are nationwide. They help veterans from across anywhere. So if you have friends and family, like in California, they can come here and these charities will help them and they'll most of these charities will actually help get you to them.

Speaker 3:

So first one is that we always highlight which is an amazing one, and we featured the all of these on the show before. So the first one is heroes bridge. They are actually located in virgin and they typically help veterans 65 and older, but they started the National Battle Buddy Call-In Center. So any veteran from across the nation can call this phone number, 1-800-653-8387. If you call that phone number, heroes Bridge will help you with whatever you need help with If you need lawn care, if you need a ride to an appointment, if you just have questions about VA or anything like that. They just want to help veterans. So any veteran that you think needs help and you're just not quite sure where to turn, you can call 1-800-653-8387 and Heroes Bridge will help you navigate.

Speaker 3:

The next one is if you are dealing with post-traumatic stress, you can contact Warfighter Advance. Dr Vieten at Warfighter Advance amazing woman, she's got a great program. It's all self-referral. So if you've just hit your point with dealing with post-traumatic stress, call Warfighter Advance and talk to them. Their number is 202-239-7395. Again, that's 202-239-7395. Now we've had Dr Vieten on the show and we've had two other of our guests on the show that have been through Warfighter Advance and they loved it and they have amazing things to say.

Speaker 3:

The next charity is the Baltimore Station and they deal with homelessness and they help males. But you can call 410-752-2254. Again, that's 410-752-2254. The Baltimore Station is an amazing program. It's a year-long program and it helps these men coming off the street and it teaches them work. It teaches them what the VA claims and finances. It is just a phenomenal program. It's not a quick Band-Aid slap. You know we're going to quickly try to fix you and then call it a day. They really invest a lot of time and a lot of other charities go to them and volunteer their time. So the Baltimore Station if you're dealing with homelessness or you know a veteran who's dealing with homelessness. The next one if you are a veteran and you are having financial problems or financial crisis, you can contact Peggy at Operation First Response. Their number is 888-289-0280. Again, that's 888-289-0280. Peggy and her daughter and her daughter's friend. They are amazing over there. So if anything you're dealing with finances, if you just need a little bit of help for a second, give them a call and I'm sure they'll be able to help direct you.

Speaker 3:

The next one, and this might be a little controversial for some people so VA claims Okay, so you can go through the VA and you can file your VA claim. You can go to the VFW. You can go through the American Legion. There are so many different ways that you can file a VA claim, but the quickest way that we have seen out of all of the different ways and, first note, we are not getting money from any of these people. We just this is our personal experience. We've walked through these charities. We've seen everything but for a VA claim the least painful that I have seen.

Speaker 3:

The experience for a veteran is Jan Dills and that is a lawyer. You can contact them at 877-850-1706. Now she helped my husband get to 100% and we didn't pay out of pocket. They recouped their money from the government. So all you do is you call, you talk to them, see if you're eligible, and they actually fill out all the paperwork. You really don't have to do much of anything. You don't have to go to these big claim sessions. You don't have to go through all your medical records yourself. They do it and you're not cutting a check to anybody. So if you're interested in that, you make the decision anybody. So if you're interested in that, you make the decision. I'm just giving you the phone number. 877-850-1706 is Jan Dills and we had a positive experience with it. So that's why we recommend it.

Speaker 3:

If you are dealing with addiction issues, you can go to wwwaaorg. If you need to attend a meeting, you can attend an online meeting 24-7. There's always a meeting going on with AA, or you can find a meeting in your local area but just go to wwwaaorg. Or I've actually heard of another program which is more faith-based and that is Celebrate Recovery. So if you go to wwwcelebraterecoverycom, you can go through more of a faith-based recovery system. So either, or it's up to you Reach out, however it works, or my personal favorite that has worked truly.

Speaker 3:

The best for me brought me the most peace out of everything that I've dealt with is truly God and his son, jesus Christ. You know, sometimes you hit a point that you just realize that you have no control, there's nothing that you can do to fix the situation. So I just called out to God and he answers. I know that sounds insane, but he does. And if you are in that moment, or even if you're not in a crisis moment, if you're just feeling a tug at your heart to know more about God, just call out to him and I guarantee you he will answer. I guarantee you he'll answer, even because I've told you now that he'll answer. I have that much faith in him. I know he will answer your call.

Speaker 3:

He answered my call again this week and it's just amazing. It really is. It's mind-blowing, but you're never alone. See, there's so many of the charities, there's us and Jesus Christ. So just please, whatever moment that you're in, know that you're going to get through it, know that you're loved and know that in the end it will be worth it. You'll be in a better spot once you get through it. Okay, so hang in there and keep fighting. So the reason I don't know how much we want to go into, but, um, the reason I had a rough week is because of veteran dealing with the VA affairs. And just, I'm just not just the VA but also Walter Reed, I'm just over the medical care system that we get as veterans. So, jeff, you use a CPAP. How long have you used a CPAP?

Speaker 2:

Almost 15 years, 15, 16 years.

Speaker 3:

So, and have you ever been harassed about the CPAP from the company? So I, about a year, two years ago, I had a really bad experience with Walter Reed. I have been seen at Walter Reed since 2010. I was medevaced there and for the most part things have been going well, but it started just plummeting at COVID, and this past two years I went to one of my doctors that was left there and I just had a heart-to-heart with them and I said I need some help. I don't know who to turn to, and so they referred me to all of these doctors, the heads of the clinics and all of these different clinics at Walter Reed, and I was starting to get a little bit of faith in the system again. And what did you know? In this past year and a half, I have lost all of those doctors. They have all been nicely nudged out the door because the chain of command wasn't listening to them, and so they went about their way. One of the doctors I lost was a sleep doctor who he prescribed a CPAP.

Speaker 3:

These CPAP people at ADAPT Health are downright crazy. They really are what they want me to do. They say that they need notification from my doctor that I'm using the CPAP, so I've lost all my doctors. Who am I supposed to call? I had an appointment with my primary care doctor. They made I had to wait three months for it and then it got canceled. I couldn't go to it and so now I have to wait another month. But do you know what these ADAP people they want? They just want any doctor to call them. They don't care what doctor, just have any doctor call them and say that I'm using the CPAP and it's working. And if I don't get any doctor to call, they're going to charge me $800.

Speaker 2:

How does that make sense? Yeah, because they can't get a hold of your doctor either.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they can't, but you know they call me at all hours and you know the guy that was trying. He said he was helping, he's a veteran. So he's telling me to fudge the system just so that I don't get charges. That's not medical care. That's not medical care at all. That is somebody scamming off the system of veterans and I'm so tired of it. I really I'm tired of the medical care that they or they claim it to be medical care, because it's not. And so, to all of you out there, all of you veterans, if you have an opportunity, just be better. Because you know, we tried to call Walter Reed. The phone number wasn't working. We tried to leave a message on a voicemail. When we finally did call a number and they said they have three days to get back to us and if they don't get back to us, call again and leave another message.

Speaker 3:

Then, my husband, you went online and you filled out a form, what they told him to, and then the website locked up. Now, if I'm a 70-year-old, 80-year-old, first of all, you're telling me to go online and then none of it works. The phone numbers don't work. To go online and then none of it works. The phone numbers don't work. I understand how this is driving veterans mad. It is ridiculous that everything we have to do is online, that we have to wait for messages, we have to wait months for this and this. It's just crazy and I'm over it. But my husband, you helped me through it and I hope the people out there that are listening. Man, if you work for the VA, we need to change something. But we got to take a break. We'll be right back.

Speaker 1:

We want our coffee in the lobby.

Speaker 2:

We watch our worship on the screen.

Speaker 1:

We got a rock star preacher who won't wake us from our dreams. We want our blessings in our pocket. We keep our missions overseas before the hurting in our city or would we even cross the street? But we want to see the heart set free and the tyrants near the walls fall down and our land be healed. But church, if we want to see a change in the world out there, it's got to start right here. It's got to start right now.

Speaker 2:

Welcome back everybody and thank you for listening to the Veteran Show. If you're in crisis, please pick up the phone and dial 988, press Option 1, or text 838255. Just remember you're never alone. There's always somebody out there that wants to hear your voice.

Speaker 3:

There absolutely is. And so reach out and tell somebody that you need some help and just need somebody to lean on for a little bit. There's nothing wrong with asking for help Nothing wrong at all, actually, I think it makes you stronger if you do so. Thank you for joining us tonight. We super appreciate it. We do have a guest coming on to the show, except he is indisposed for a few seconds. So we are stalling. We've never had to do this on the radio before, but we are.

Speaker 3:

But you know what? I never am at a loss for words, or not very often. So what we're talking about before the break was how I was having a tough time, and it's not just OK. So yes, there's the CPAP and yes, it's that they want to charge me eight hundred dollars for I don't know what I really feel like falsifying medical records. But what gets me is that I have tried everything to redress my problems. I've tried to talk to Walter Reed directly through all the problems, and they just ignore you. I've tried the VA, even when I was sitting at Georgetown same thing they just blow you off because they're getting paid anyways. They get paid regardless if they treat you or not. And I've tried to talk to my congressman. I've had news articles written about me, and here we are sitting on the air right, and now we decided, okay, so every week we're going to bring on a veteran. And these veterans are going through the same things, if not worse.

Speaker 3:

And we've come up with a plan the Gold Star Act. And when we were trying to talk to a Virginia congressman a local congressman who was a veteran, by the way, and he actually bragged he said my wife, it was a roundtable that we were at and they actually spent most of the time talking. But afterwards we were talking to him and he said that his wife was good at writing legislation. And so I said that's great, I need help writing this Gold Star Act. And you know what he did? He laughed. He's like oh well, you're going to need a lot of money. And I looked at him and I said why would you need money to protect the gold stars? And he's like it just takes a. You need money to protect the gold stars. And he's like it just takes a lot of money to get the legislation done. So we're at a loss. Are you at a loss, babe?

Speaker 2:

What else can you do? Oh, what was the other thing that somebody told you to do?

Speaker 3:

You should start a blog. Oh yeah, so that was the start of the week. So I am part of a older veterans group. They nicely let me tag along with them every once in a while. And they opened up a new chat line or a new, you know just, I don't know, it's just you can kind of text message to each other. And when they opened it up, they laid down the rules of you you can't talk about religion and you can't talk about politics. And so I messaged them directly and I said, well, does this have to do? Also, does this carry over to like emails or does it also carry over to when we're in person and stuff like that? And you know, they said freedom of speech. But here's my deal with that Number one that message telling us what we can and cannot talk about came from a Purple Heart recipient.

Speaker 3:

And here's the thing how do I not talk to my fellow veterans not using politics or religion? Because if we take last week's show, let's just take last week's, for example, commander Rob Green. What did he say? I think it was 1,460 veterans committed suicide because they were waiting on their religious exemption from the COVID-19 shot. So how do I bring that up without God and without politics. And do you know what they said in the emails that they responded back to me when I asked for clarification? They said well, why don't you open up another chat line or another page so you can talk about this stuff? We have a radio show and you guys aren't listening to it, so it's.

Speaker 3:

Do you know what I got from that message? The rules of what can be discussed and what can't be discussed. I got from it the very, very difficult message of if you're going to have a problem, this is not the place to come to, and that is the worst thing that veterans can do to one another. If I was in crisis, I would not turn to these people Now. I actually know these people very personally and that's why I was able to engage with them and I'm going to continue to.

Speaker 3:

But for you people out there listening, my fellow veterans, be very careful when you sit there and say you're not willing to talk about politics or religion, because every single one of those issues, every single issue, pertains to veterans. Right, and if we want to sit here and say, hey, we want to stop veteran suicide, well, how do we stop veteran suicide if we don't talk about the 1,460 veterans that killed themselves and they were waiting for religious exemptions. I just we put these ridiculous rules on ourselves and it's just. It does no good. It does absolutely no good. I mean for another example to tie in with what we're dealing with. You know, $800. Now finances. Everybody is having their finances stressed. You know I don't have $800 to just throw around. You know everything is planned.

Speaker 3:

But what's interesting is I saw the news story this week of. There was a news story that said that Joe Biden, the Biden administration, was about to send $15 million to Afghanistan for condoms. So you're telling me that we have, not only can we leave $80 billion worth of equipment in Afghanistan, and then we also left everything over there. We got our troops killed over there. We left everything over there. We got our troops killed over there. Now we're going to send another 15 million over there for condoms, and they can't pay for my CPAP machine.

Speaker 3:

Are you kidding me? If you have an idea, please, by all means. I would love to hear what you guys have to say. So my request, if you're out there in the audience, this is what I can think of. If you are crafty, I would really appreciate if you could build like maybe 12-inch high by 10-inch wide fake brick wall so I can just beat my head against it. That's. That's about where I met. Congress doesn't want to listen. I mean, my congressman's a veteran and he doesn't want to listen, and he's a doctor.

Speaker 2:

Because you don't put any money in his pocket.

Speaker 3:

I hope that's not the reason. I hope it's not any money in his pocket. I hope that's not the reason. I hope it's not. But you know, let me tell you this I've been thinking a lot, and I don't mean to be preachy or anything like that, I'm not one to be able to give a sermon to anybody, but there's been something that's been weighing on my heart In the Bible in Matthew 21, verses 12 through 13,. It talks about that.

Speaker 3:

Jesus went into the temple and he got super angry because he saw everybody trying there. It was a marketplace. It was no longer a temple. It was people trying to sell stuff. They didn't care about talking to God anymore, it was just another way to enrich themselves. And I've been thinking about that so much because in the Bible it was prophesied that Jesus was going to do that. So they had a really really, really long time to fix that temple, to fix themselves, to right themselves. They had warning that they were going off the rails and nobody ever stood up and said we shouldn't do this, we shouldn't do this to God. Instead, they pushed it off for so long that literally the son of God had to come down to earth and clean out his own temple.

Speaker 3:

My thing is are we really going to not clean up our own temple, aka America? Are we really just going to wait for somebody else to do it? Wait for somebody else to do the right thing, because this is just the way it is. This is just the way it goes. I mean, I personally, if God comes down here another time, I don't think it's going to be pretty and I would just prefer that we get our stuff right now and we start taking care of each other now and stop hurting one another. Taking care of each other now and stop hurting one another because it's doing no good.

Speaker 3:

And I understand that this guy at ADAPT Health, who is a veteran, thinks he's just doing his job, but there comes a point that you don't know who's on that other line and you don't know how much it's built up on them and you don't know if what you say is the breaking point. We can cover $800, but there's not a lot of people who can. And it's really unfair that our government is sending millions of dollars for condoms and not taking care of the veterans millions of dollars for condoms and not taking care of the veterans and I, frankly, I'm just sick of it because these politicians have been in office for decades and each and every campaign every two years, four years, six years they all say, oh, we got to take care of the veterans, so why haven't you?

Speaker 3:

Why is it in 2025, some random chick who should be I was retired has to come to the radio and say you know what? There's an easy fix. All you have to do is make Gold Star families tax exempt. You have to make everybody on active duty tax exempt. Every single person that's been injured in the line of duty, make tax exempt, and every single veteran gets 100% medical care. Why is it that I have to come up with that idea and then, when I try to give it to a lawmaker, he laughs in my face, even though his wife, she has experience writing law and he's a veteran.

Speaker 2:

Because it's not profitable.

Speaker 3:

There we go. So when you actually step back, if you take the 30, 40, 50,000 foot view, do you know what would happen if my plan was implemented? The main thing there would be a whole bunch of people losing a whole bunch of money because I don't know. I mean, I know there's good charities out there, I know there's good people in the va, I know there's people who are genuinely trying, but what? This whole system is stacked up and rigged against us. There is no way ever that they are fully going to catch up with VA claims. There's no way. It's not possible.

Speaker 3:

I read an article a few weeks ago and they were talking about they were praising themselves, the Biden administration that they had caught up by a million VA claims. But as you started getting deeper in that article, they actually were still a million. Behind it's insanity, behind it's insanity. And my thing is why is the onerous on us, the veteran, to prove to the United States government that they made us sick? The onerous is on the United States government to prove that they didn't. And when we raised our hands and we swore an oath, they swore to take care of us and they're not living up to their end of the bargain.

Speaker 2:

Because we went when they sent us.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and we breathed in really bad chemicals, but we still did it. The Uzbekistan veterans slept on yellow cake uranium. One lady I was talking to just last year the VA. Finally, they were having a debate between what depleted uranium or something else, like there's one less toxic than the other. It's only taken 24, 23 years to make that decision and then the VA wants another eight to 10 years to study if sleeping on uranium you know, yellow cake uranium is poisonous. I could have swore that the hometown that I grew up in, los Alamos, new Mexico, where the atom bomb was invented, I could have swore we already figured out that being near uranium was pretty bad for us.

Speaker 3:

Why we need studies to prove it. Do you know why we need? Because they're waiting us out. I don't know what else to do. So here my husband and I are talking to you guys. Maybe you can help us brainstorm. I'm plum out of ideas how to fix this. I have sent this gold star act everywhere. I am casting a wide net and I'm just I don't know. I don't know what to do. So if you have an idea, please email us at veteransshow at gmailcom, and we would love to hear your thoughts on it. You know, my husband and I also. I just totally changing subjects. There's no transition here, because I'm not professional, I don't know what I'm doing, but right, we just wing it. So there's something I'm looking into. I came across this news article, this study, and I don't want to talk too much about it yet because I don't know enough. But I would like you guys to do a science experiment for me. If you are willing, I would like you to.

Speaker 3:

If you have a UV light I think it's a what? 395 nanometer UV light you can find it on Amazon. I hate promoting Amazon, but you can. Most people buy these UV lights. Like, if you have animals, you can go to Petco, petsmart, whatever. You buy these little UV flashlights. It's basically if you're looking for urine or don't ever want to use one in a hotel, okay, just don't do that. But it's just anywho.

Speaker 3:

If you have a UV light, or if you go out there and buy one, you take it home and turn off your bathroom lights or whatever, and while you're in front of the mirror, shine the UV light onto your face and what I'm looking for is around your nose, maybe your mouth, chin, your sinuses, some people. People might see a bright orange glow from their pores. If you do this little science test and if you see that bright orange glow, I would really like to know about it. Okay, not trying to freak anybody out, you're fine. You're not melting away or anything like that. It's just something I'm researching and so I'm just trying to do a science experiment, again casting a wide net. So it's just a pretty interesting article that I came across for that. Again, don't freak out. If you see it, you know it's nothing terrible, we'll deal with it and just we're just trying to gather information. We'll deal with it and we're just trying to gather information.

Speaker 3:

So we are supposed to have a guest, but you know, I'm just going to start talking about him. Maybe he's on with Newsmax right now. I believe His name is Mr Garrett Ziegler and if he's not able to call in, if it ends up that he's on Newsmax for too long, that's fine. But Mr Garrett Ziegler, he's been doing something pretty interesting. So, no, he's not a veteran. It's not often that we—it's very rarely, actually, that we invite civilians on, but Mr Garrett Ziegler, he has a tremendous history. He's super smart. He graduated, madam. Madam, is that how you say it?

Speaker 2:

Summa Cum Laude.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, OK, but the he worked in the first Trump administration and after the end 2020, once Trump got out of office, Garrett Ziegler founded this site called Marco Polo and it's on Substack, and what he did is he actually did, brought a team together and he did a deep dive into the Hunter Biden laptop and he I mean, if you want to deal with computers, if you're just thinking, just looking for a little file is tough and that's what I think, I think just turning on a computer sucks. But if, if you've ever wanted somebody who really can get into the meat and potatoes of a computer, of a hard drive, Garrett Ziegler is your guy and he did this to the Hunter Biden laptop. Now, why does this matter to veterans? Well, that's interesting. Oops, he just hit the microphone, Sorry. What made it interesting?

Speaker 3:

So I saw a post from Mr Garrett Ziegler on X and it grabbed my attention because in 2016, In 2016, October 27th to be exact Hunter Biden, who was a member of USAA, filed a now that we know a fraudulent claim auto insurance claim with USAA and it's been proven fraudulent by Hunter Biden himself. So Hunter Biden said that when he was on his way to rehab, he said that he got two flat tires and the car went off the road and in fact, in Hunter Biden's memoir he ended up admitting that he was actually high as a kite and he launched his car. So he lied to USAA and we're going to talk. We'll talk more about it, but we are going to bring our guests on because he's here. So, Mr Garrett Ziegler, can you hear me?

Speaker 4:

Yes, thanks for your patience.

Speaker 3:

Oh, no problem. No problem, you have a very important stuff to get.

Speaker 4:

We don't think we have enough time, but you said it right. Not many times when somebody commits a crime do they admit to it in their own book. But what he didn't realize was that his laptop was going to contradict what he said in the book. So Hunter was honest in the book. It's only one of the few times he was honest in the book, but it turns out his leaked laptop that he never bothered to pick up from a repair shop did him in in a bit of irony. That is almost Greco-Roman in its hilarity.

Speaker 3:

God's justice is beautiful. Sometimes it all comes around. So we won't have as much time and I'd love for you to come back on the show so we can really dive deep into this.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, sorry about that.

Speaker 3:

No, oh, no problem please. I mean, you have such important information that you need to get out. So I understand First if you can just real quick tell the audience a little bit about you and your history and how this all you got into all this.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, so I worked in the White House from 2019 to 2021 for a gentleman named Peter Navarro, who is back in the White House now in the same position. He is the president's chief in-house trade advisor, and I was one of his four staffers, and during that time, as is going on right now, the relationship that we have with the Chinese is probably one of the most important issues of the 21st century, and so, when I started looking through the leaked contents of the Biden laptop, what struck out to me first was all of the communications with the Chinese and very, very high-level people, people with direct relationships, friendships with Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the CCP. So that's what got my attention. And then, once I started digging, it revealed itself to be really a cornucopia of human depravity and sin, and so this USAA story is tangential to the Chinese infiltration of our former first family. But it goes to show that the Biden's exploits were not singular. They have stolen from many different groups of people, and critical to the USAA story is that he shouldn't have even had the insurance policy at that time.

Speaker 4:

If you depart from the US military in a less than honorable way less than honorable discharge Hunter got an administrative discharge. That's why, in 2020, when Donald Trump and Joe Biden were debating, they always jumped on Trump because Trump said during the debate that he got a dishonorable discharge. That wasn't exactly correct. But even that is a scandal because most people and I would urge all of your listeners to go find another example of this not being the case but all people who get caught with cocaine in the service get a dishonorable discharge, except Hunter Biden. He got an administrative discharge out and cross-referencing it with his memoir, which was a failed memoir. We've sold three times as many copies as Hunter did on his memoir our book which all your listeners can find at BidenReportcom for free. When he was talking about this in his memoir, he basically said, just like you did, that he was high as a kite and I think he fell asleep because he had so much crack in his system over an extended period of time.

Speaker 4:

But what USAA's policies themselves? And of course, we called them before we published the book. They explicitly state on their website that if it's less than honorable, your coverage ceases, and this event occurred in 2016, whereas Hunter got kicked out of the Navy in 2014. So the USAA has no plausible deniability about this. They can't say, oh well, his policy. There's no auto policy that goes longer than a year. I think most of them last six months. I know mine does and I would love to have USAA because the rates are great.

Speaker 4:

So what this means is Hunter not only stole directly from military families by inevitably raising the rates because they had to pay for his crack addict wreck $12,000 for a new rental car but he stole indirectly, which is he shouldn't have even had the policy. His brother had been dead for over a year and we even looked at the fine print that said you cannot extend USA membership to adult siblings. So, like, for example, beau Biden's children can legally have USAA because his dad was in the National Guard and they were a dependent of his or they're adults now, but they were once a dependent. That would be illegal. So every aspect of this is pathetic, meaning he shouldn't have even had the policy to begin with. And then, when we brought it up to them, when we called the claims agent, margo Graff, she totally punted and hung up on us, even though the statute of limitations has run out. So of course we sent this to the AG's office in Texas, because that is where USAA is headquartered it's in San Antonio. So what we did was we sent it to all the states he committed crimes in. Hertz is headquartered in Oklahoma. That was the rental company. So he stole from Hertz. He stole from USAA. So he stole from Hertz. He stole from USAA, and it's just insane the collateral damage that this family has wrought on so many different types of people.

Speaker 4:

Our book is only the criminal activity from the Biden laptop. So there are things that aren't in our book because they're scummy but don't necessarily show a statute violation. This is a clear statute violation. Insurance fraud is one of the most common crimes in America. There are entire industries. In fact, one of our board members, marco Polo, is a licensed private investigator in North Carolina and he does insurance fraud every day of his life. So it is cut and dry. We have it in writing. Usually you don't have stuff in writing, right. So they've actually taken these types of cases to a jury before with less direct evidence.

Speaker 3:

You know I don't have hardly any time left at all, but I need the audience to understand this, and I pray that you come back. Before I let you go, though, please tell Dr Navarro, and to you too, but Dr Navarro is an American hero, and I thank him for everything that he has done. I truly.

Speaker 4:

I'll pass along that message. Thank you. He's great and he's sort of like an uncle figure to me. I worked for him for 23 months. My last day was January 18th 2021. We still communicate and I would like to come back and maybe we do one on the whole book.

Speaker 4:

But, like we said offline, I think all listeners need to dig into the board membership of USAA and this is my call to action there's never been a better time for reform in any institution in America. The people are furious, and righteously. If there are woke policies still at USAA, now is the time to start making a legitimate, righteous fuss about them. And they can take that single page in our book as an exhibit. And you know, we should just we should just start emailing that page of the book to every single board member of USAA, because guess what Hunter still might have USAA, I wouldn't doubt it and actually I don't have much time.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to thank you, mr Garrett Ziegler, for everything you do. I do hope you come on Hold'm going to thank you, mr Garrett Ziegler, for everything you do. I do hope you come on Hold the music for a second, michelle. People need to understand this board stuff. You need to understand. There is a board member, juan Andrade. He became a member of USA in 2020. He was appointed to the board in 2020. He is not a veteran and he was part of the DOJ. You would think that a person that came from the DOJ would know about this and know properly what to do, but yet this board member never stepped in. But they debanked Mr John Eastman. Go figure on that one. There's something wrong with the board at USAA. That's my personal opinion and it really needs to be looked into, because the amount of information that USAA has on all these veterans yeah, we need to figure it out. Everybody, have a great week. No-transcript.
